Ferrari Purosangue Tdi (total d***head inside)

Soooo… I love fast cars.

I think I’ve been abundantly clear about this over the various blogs I’ve written.

There do come moments though, when you question this obsession.

I love the design that goes into cars.

I love that they have soul and that the various engines have different character and that they make different sounds ….

I’m obviously smitten.

I do, however, question the motives of some of the people that drive these things…

Today, I was driving up the Main Street in Glossop in my Defender 90 – which I should say was very much in need of a clean – when at the lights, a Ferrari Purosangue pulled up on the left beside me.

I say pulled up beside me – there isn’t a left lane at this point …

The guy sat there in his ….mirror shades….and gunned the engine.

He then gunned it again and again.

I say gunned it again… I was in a diesel, Landrover 90.

Then the lights changed and he floored it.

Yes, he tore up the High Street, back end of the car wriggling all over the road, tyres smoking….

Then he met traffic and I rolled up behind him …

All I could think was – what a complete and utter f**king idiot.

Nice car – driven by a knob.
