Every company needs a ‘Phil’

Every company needs a ‘Phil’.

They don’t need to be called Phil but ours is – so I use his name as an honorary title for this person within your company.

Phil is just a legend.

He has been there forever and always in a good way.

Phil will always be happy and positive and popular with his team mates.

Phil will ALWAYS help out.

Whatever it is, Phil will have a go at it.

Throw Phil in the deep end – he will swim.

Phil is a rock, he’s been there and done that …. and has the scars to show for his past exploits.

He is experience personified and nothing phases him.

If you’re trying some new ideas, Phil will be supportive and will be the first to adopt new techniques and new equipment.

Phil will be open minded and quick to find the benefit of modernisation.

Phil doesn’t complain and enjoys his job, he enjoys what he does and always gives 100%.

He is universally admired within the company and everyone wishes he was the boss rather than the guy who actually owns the company (mainly because that guys a bit of a d**k) ….
