The Sea of Sameness

As a teenager, I used to pride myself on knowing every car on the road. From the front, from the side, from the rear, even at night ….I could tell make and model before seeing the car close up.

Getting older, this continued to a point where I would challenge myself to identify everything I saw on the road within seconds of seeing a vehicle.

However – those days are long gone.

The roads are awash with Chinese cars that have ruined my score sheet.

BYD, MG, Geely, Onondaga, Jaecoo, XPeng, Havel, Ora, NIO, Leapmotor …..

WTF….

…and they all look exactly the same.

I guarantee, at some point in the not too distant future it’s going to dawn on us that we’ve been sold a load of cheap crap.

The roads will be full of broken down, rubbish vehicles, the second hand market for cars will die, nobody will be able to get parts for these things …and we will all disappear up our own backsides when we realise that we’ve been duped ….
