PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Prior to coming here I have helped small companies put systems in place for their accounts and office admin. The majority of my experience came from working for my ex partner whom I was with for 15 years, working my way up from secretary to accounts manager. This was a sign manufacturing company. Whilst there, I worked in all departments from marketing, purchasing, customer liaison, personnel and accounts. I have a total of 19 years business admin experience with a variety of companies, with turnovers from £1.2 to £2.3 million.

COMPANY EXPERIENCE: I have taken on the role of Accounts Manager, working closely with Mike Clough (MD). My duties include all aspects of sales and purchase ledger, reconciliations, cash flow, banking, supplier payments, credit control, payroll and personnel.

FAVOURITE PART OF YOUR JOB: Meeting targets that I have set, I get great satisfaction.

LEAST FAVOURITE PART OF YOUR JOB: That awkward 1p that can’t be found on the bank reconciliation.

INTERESTS AWAY FROM WORK: I’m a full-time mum of two teenagers and their needs come first. However, I like to let my hair down and enjoy nothing more than going out on the town, getting rather tipsy and having a good dance and laugh with my friends.

IF I COULD BE ANYWHERE: Sipping a cocktail whilst lying on the beautiful white sands of the Seychelles

FAVOURITE LINE FROM A FILM: “Fifty bucks, Grandpa. For seventy-five, the wife can watch!” Pretty woman
