PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Prior to joining JKSL in 2010, I assisted small companies put systems in place for their accounts and office admin. The majority of my experience came from working for my ex- partner whom I was with for 15 years, working my way up from secretary to accounts manager. Whilst here, I worked in all departments from marketing, purchasing, customer liaison, personnel and accounts. I have a total of 27 years business admin experience with a variety of companies, with turnovers from £1.2 to £2.3 million.
COMPANY EXPERIENCE: I started at JKSL as the Accounts and HR Manager, working closely with Mike Clough (CEO). My duties included all aspects of sales and purchase ledger, reconciliations, cashflow, banking, supplier payments, credit control, payroll and personnel. However, this last year has seen me develop my skills further by attending and undertaking various seminars and courses in order to keep up to speed with constant changes within HR industry and new regulations brought in by the government surrounding pensions and RTI has meant more software training within payroll. As if this isn’t enough, I am also currently undertaking a Level 3 Diploma in Management which I am due to complete in April this year. All this has led to me taking more of a Financial Director role, working closer with Alex Dayes (MD) to produce accurate 4 weekly cashflows with 12 monthly predictions.
