Previous experience: I have worked in an office environment for the last 10 years, I have always enjoyed working in a busy office, even worked for Japanese Knotweed Solutions Ltd for 12 months 2003 - 2004 - back then I also answered the telephone dealing with customers and staff and general office duties, typing, filing faxing etc this was all before I left to have my first child.
Company experience: I am thrilled to now be back with JKSL - I work on Reception where I am the first point of contact for anyone requiring our services - Customers, Staff, New Enquiries and suppliers. I have a very varied role which I thouroughly enjoy, from taking calls, dealing with queries from customers and staff alike. I am also working closely with our Accounts and HR Manager who is training me in all aspects of the accounts systems that we use - this is challenging me every day, my role has grown alot since I started in July 2010 which has seen me take on many more responsibilities. I hope to use this training to progress and grow within Japanese Knotweed.
Favourite part of your job: I dont really have a favourite part of my job,every day is so different- however, what I like about my job is that I am ALWAYS busy, this helps my days go so fast.
Least favourite part of your job: Being away from my young Family all day!!
Interests away from work: My main interests away from work would have to be spending time with my partner and our children aged 6 & 2 - many family trips fill my weekends. I also enjoy watching films, either on DVD or at the cinema, and socialising with friends (when we manage to pin down Grandma & Grandad to babysit).
If I could be anywhere: It would have to be on white beach with the sun shining in the blue sky and clear sea splashing at my feet.
