Extraordinary uses for Japanese Knotweed

JKSL have recently come across a quirky company based in Snowdonia, Wales who create handcrafted paper from alternative sources. Specialising mainly in Sheep Poo Paper (yes really!), they also use other recycled materials, one of them being Japanese Knotweed.

We are really impressed by this and hope to make our next batch of newsletters on JK paper!? Watch this space!

Please note that it is an offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act to knowingly spread Japanese Knotweed so all such ‘experiments’ must be carefully planned and undertaken within the current legislation!
