Emma Morley AIEMA, PhD, BSc Hons Environmental Science

Dr. Emma Morley joined JKSL. in May 2007 following a conservation management research project in South Africa. She has a 1st class honours degree and Ph. D in Environmental Science from Nottingham University and a background in Environmental Consultancy. Emma has been actively involved in academic research both in the UK and Africa; affiliated with Rothamsted Research, Cape Nature (SA) and the Universities of Nottingham and Durham. She is an Associate Member of The Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and a keen conservationist.

Emma hopes to use her skills in research management to add an extra R&D dimension to the team and to use her experiences both here and abroad to understand the morphology and fecundity of invasive weed species in the UK and discover more efficient and rapid methods for their eradication. Originally from the North West, her interests include clay pigeon shooting, horse riding and swimming. She completed her first triathlon in July 2006.
