Successful Seminar at Lowry Hotel
Last week, Japanese Knotweed Solutions held a well attended seminar at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester, to publicise the recent Government decision to allow the release of the first bio-control agent in the United Kingdom.
The audience consisted of a variety of professionals as well as several members of interested Environmental and Wildlife Groups.
Mike Clough opened the proceedings with an introduction followed by an update on the release of the Psyllid Aphid (Aphalara itadori). James Middleton from Corporate Accountancy Solutions followed this with an update on Land Remediation Tax Relief. Becca and Sophie from JKSL gave an update on New Legislation relating to JK, then Gary Andrews from Nomix Enviro rounded off the day discussing changes to rules regarding herbicide use in the UK.
