The Invasive Non Native Species Framework Strategy for Great Britain
The Invasive Non-Native Species Framework Strategy for Great Britain was launched in 2008. The aim is to provide a strategic framework to protect against the adverse impacts of invasive non-native species through widespread awareness, a shared sense of responsibility and the involvement of local action groups. Given the range of actions, aspects of the Framework Strategy will be taken forward at the GB level and others will be left to individual counties to implement.
