Yes I’m having a moan again…
We have a whole new crop of Japanese Knotweed experts appearing on Google - even some of them cant spell Knotweed - its KNOTWEED not Knowtweed (a new knotweed ‘expert’ who is actually a haulier). Or others that think these are ‘evasive’ weeds not INVASIVE…(a Knotweed ‘expert’ who is actually a one man band landscaper)
Some of you will think I’m being pedantic and that spelling isn’t critical when dealing with invasive weeds. However I believe it goes to the credibility of the companies who present themselves as ‘expert’ when they are simply trying to add themselves onto the tail of credible companies who have spent time and effort researching strategies and coming up with new methodologies to deal with these plants.
You don’t become an ‘expert’ in Japanese Knotweed by simply taking waste material off site in a large wagon….you become an expert in driving wagons to waste sites. You don’t become an ‘expert’ in Japanese Knotweed by having a small landscape business - you become a small landscape contractor.
