If you regularly read my blogs (…about 600 of you apparently!) then you will be used to me prattling on about ‘other’ companies offering services that they cannot provide and making fraudulent claims about the guarantees that they supposedly offer.
I’m thinking that maybe I should just shut up and let our product speak for itself…!

You don’t need to be a gardener, you don’t need to know about weed control - all you need is a pair of eyes and a telephone! (…or better still a digital camera and an internet connection…!)

If you know what your weed problem is then give us the size and location of the infestation and we will give you an idea of the costs - no obligation.
We will survey your site for a fixed fee - then credit this fee back to your project if you proceed with our services.
Japanese Knotweed Solutions surveyors are trained to Degree level in Environmental Science and will bring all their skills to your project to ensure that the most viable option is presented to you. There are many different ways to deal with Japanese Knotweed and many different prices and options to consider - we will always endeavour to come up with the package of works that suits your budget and your timescales - whilst keeping within current legislative guidelines.
We will ensure that our promises are kept.
When we survey a site and give you a price - that cost is fixed. If we have missed something or underestimated the scale of the problem - we will pick up the bill.
We will be truthful at all times.
Many companies make false promises about the timescales involved in eradicating problem weeds. We won’t. Simple as that.
All works are done in house.
This may sound an obvious one - but many of our competitors sub-contract out various elements of their works.
We carry out all surveying in house, all CAD works in house, all machine works in house, tree works in house, chemical treatment root barrier membranes and aftercare maintenance all done by ‘cards in’ full time employed members of the JKSL team.
It may sound like I am being over pushy about this point - but this is how we get the results that we do - from start to completion, closely monitored projects run by the same teams…signed off by the surveyor that carried out the initial survey.

We come back to site for ten years to check, check again and keep checking until we are sure that all areas are clear of invasive weeds.
Why do we do this? The reason that the likes of Japanese Knotweed are so problematic is that they are adept at surviving. They will lay dormant for years, sitting beneath the soil surface until something triggers a growth spurt. This could be climate led or season, or even due to disturbance.
You have to check - you have to keep going back and looking, monitoring and dealing with any new growth.
We have been treating Japanese Knotweed for a long time now and have honed our techniques to suit our client’s requirements. We are not an overnight success - its taken time and commitment - with all strategies being tried and tested before they are used on live projects.
