Time is Money
This is a guest blog by Suzanne Hardy of JKSL
‘Time is money’ maybe an old cliché we all know and understand, but still many of you seem to get caught out when it comes to dealing with Japanese Knotweed.
In the growing season (which will soon be upon us) Japanese Knotweed can grow at an astonishing rate of up to 10cms per day. There isn’t time to sit around twiddling thumbs; catch it early to minimise treatment costs before it gets out of control!
Here at JKSL, we pride ourselves on our response times, which is more than I can say for others. How many of you have sent an Online Enquiry to a company and by the time you get a response it’s too late and you’ve gone elsewhere? Or even worse they don’t even bother replying - how rude! Our aim is to give you the most cost effective service and to do this our response time is crucial. Your enquiry is of utmost importance to us and each one is dealt with efficiently and tailored to suit your requirements.
Click here to fill in our online enquiry form or call me on 0161 723 2000 and I will aim to get back to you within 24 hours. (It’s true, test me!)
So you see…. ‘time’…. is a very important factor when dealing with this alien species.

Wow have you done ANY research on Giant Knotweed?. It has been found to contain the largest amount of Resveratrol on the planet. That’s Resveratrol google it, just might be a cure for cancer among a long list of others. God has put these plant on earth to rectify mans destructive nature. Before you over react and try to destroy it, maybe you should think about some of the positives and the act accordingly….Jim Cochell

Thanks Jim - I actually preach about the ‘good’side of Japanese Knotweed (JK) in my presentations…i actually carry with me pills made from JK which contain resveratrol - good for the heart and blood pressure…
We have been trying to get some tea from Japan made from the roots of JK - so far not succeeded.
We only kill knotweed where its causing problems and are well aware that keeping a balance in the environment is very important.
Thanks for your comment.

Thank you for your kind and open minded response. This is how people on the opposite sides of the fence should interact to achieve a happy compromise. Please keep in mind that the (Resveratrol) in Knotweed is NOT water soluble. You will need to use alcohol to really get an extract that will have sufficient doses. Thanks again Jim Cochell
